A 15-year-old deaf dog was caught in a storm drain in Texas, and firefighters, police, paramedics, and other city officials worked around the clock to rescue him.
Zoey, the dog, was discovered caught in a drainage pipe on Saturday. “People were hearing animal sounds, but they were hearing them all over the neighbourhood,” said owner Andrea Tankersley.
The 10-hour rescue mission was captured on film by the Arlington Fire Department.
According to the department, “We have a condensed video of Zoey, the 15-year-old dog stranded in the storm drain, being rescued. The procedure lasted more than ten hours.
Once again, we want to thank our Technical Rescue Team, the extra Arlington Fire Department units, and the other City of Arlington, TX – City Hall departments for their contributions to Zoey’s rescue.”Follow Us
